This lady is constantly told she’s the spitting image of a beloved character from the early noughties. If you were a youngster in the early 2000s, or had little ones during that time, you’ll likely recall the iconic shows we’d rush home to watch after school. The debate was always whether you were a CBBC or CITV kid, but there was one show that was simply too legendary to miss – The Story of Tracy Beaker. Most of us will remember tuning in to see the rebellious Tracy (portrayed by Dani Harmer) navigate life at the Dumping Ground alongside memorable characters like Justine, Elaine the Pain, and the Wellard siblings. However, for one woman who grew up with the show, it has followed her into adulthood – as people online can’t stop telling her she looks just like one of the characters.

In a TikTok video, the woman responded to a comment asking: “Are you Louise off Tracy Beaker, or do you just look like her?” She revealed that she gets asked this question so frequently it makes her “die”. Tracy Beaker fans will recall Louise Govern as the best mate of Tracy’s nemesis, Justine Littlewood. Louise left the Dumping Ground – and the series – when she was adopted by the Morris family in the third season. In her video, the woman shared a photo of Louise from the show and said: “I must really look like this kid. What do you think, TikTok? Me around 20 years ago? If you really think that I played Louise in Tracy Beaker … then you’re absolutely f***ing right. Yeah, I did. I had the time of my life.”

The woman was indeed speaking the truth – meaning people are right to keep telling her she looks like her childhood self. The account is managed by Chelsie George, formerly known as Chelsie Padley, who portrayed Louise in Tracy Beaker. Where is Tracy Beaker’s Louise now? After bidding farewell to Tracy Beaker in 2004, Chelsie has transformed into a fitness and lifestyle coach and is a proud mum to her daughter Goldie, born in 2023. Chelsie frequently posts fitness and lifestyle content on her social media platforms under the username mamaspeachylife, cleverly concealing her identity as Chelsie, and consequently, Tracy Beaker’s Louise. While she’s currently thriving as a fitness trainer, Chelsie didn’t entirely leave her acting career behind post-Tracy Beaker. She explored a singing career, graced the stage in several pantomimes during her younger years, and even made a brief appearance in a TV show called Tati’s Hotel in 2011.
