Katie, the lingerie entrepreneur and future Mrs. Knowles, spilt the beans to Closer magazine about how 62 year old Nick is practically dragging himself home after rehearsals, and it seems even a tango in Buenos Aires couldn’t prepare him for it. With wedding plans in the works, Katie revealed that even after shedding an impressive 13kg for Strictly, the TV handyman is utterly knackered every night. She told Closer: “He’s like a shell of a man at the moment he’s exhausted.” Taking on Strictly has undoubtedly rattled Nick, who popped the question last year with a playful Haribo ring, showing his sweet side. Katie quipped: “I think it’s different to what I expected.”

Their evenings are now less about wedding magazines and more about rest and recovery, as Katie added: “We knew it would be hard work, but he is shattered every day when he comes back. He is near enough crawling into the house,” reports the Express. In a twist of fate following their first live show, Nick and his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk were hit with a mishap when he “damaged” his arm, leading Nick to model a makeshift sling out of a brown blanket in a video shared on Monday morning. The TV host has opened up about a mishap that left him with arm and shoulder injuries during a car tyre change. He’s seeking out “top medical advice” from Harley Street today to assess the extent of his injuries.

On Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Nick told Janette Manrara he’s keeping fingers crossed that he’ll still be able to bust some moves on the dance floor this weekend. Despite his injury, he was determined to get his son to a birthday celebration when their car had trouble on the road. Nick recounted the dramatic moment: “It was raining and there were big lorries going past. So I tried to do it quickly.
