Privacy NoticeFans of Netflix dating show Love Is Blind UK have been left scratching their heads as to why contestant Nicole Stevens looks so familiar. The Surrey 29-year-old spiced up the Netflix show by partnering up with product designer Sam Klein, but viewers couldn’t help but wonder where they had seen her before. And now, thanks to some sleuthing, fans finally have the answer. TikTok users cracked the case, discovering that Nicole had graced our screens before as a contestant on Channel 4s Come Dine with Me in August 2021, belting out Whitney Houston’s classic ‘I Will Always Love You’ at the table. Though she didn’t clinch first place, landing in fourth, her performance was unforgettable for viewers, reports the Daily Star.

One shocked fan gushed on TikTok: “I KNEW I’d seen her before and they called me crazy.” Others joined in the revelation celebration posting elated comments such as “Ahhhh! This is where I know her from! Thank you. It’s been bugging me” while another posted, “I knew she looked familiar.” Elsewhere, Benjy Potter, another alumnus of the foodie show Come Dine with Me, has been dishing behind-the-scenes secrets, spilling that each dinner party episode actually involves an epic eight-hour filming marathon. Contestants get whisked away to a random house usually no more than 45 minutes away from their homes around 4pm, and the cameras roll until the clock strikes at midnight. Meanwhile, producers are quick to cut the drinks if the participants get too rowdy. Watch the moment Nicole sings to her Come Dine With Me guests below

But worst of all? The meals are inevitably “always cold”. Benjy spilled more tea, saying: “They have to take so many different shots of it but by the time it gets on our plate and you eat it, it’s cold.” Even the iconic black cab at the end of each party isn’t what it seems. “It picks you up just to do the scoring, goes twice around the block, and then brings you back to the house you’re in, and you go back in a mini cab later,” he revealed.
