Privacy NoticeNetflix subscribers are up in arms after yet another series was axed, with many admitting they’re hardly shocked anymore. The streaming giant’s list of cancelled shows is growing, with both Kaos and That 90s Show getting the chop in October. Now, fans are expressing their dismay as Rob Lowe’s comedy Unstable has been discontinued after just two series. While some mourned the show not reaching its full potential, others were less surprised given what they considered a lacklustre second season. “Bummed to hear ‘Unstable’ got cancelled after just two seasons,” one fan shared on X, formerly Twitter, “It had such a quirky charm! Guess I’ll have to find a new favourite show now.”

Another wrote: “Like Netflix can’t even surprise me anymore!” A third said: “That’s a bummer I thought Unstable had potential It’s tough to see shows get cancelled.” Meanwhile, over on Reddit, the conversation continued with one user commenting, “At this point I mostly hear about Netflix shows via their cancellation. They make way too many shows to effectively market them, and then instantly kill them off if they don’t become a viral hit by happenstance,” reports the Mirror. Another highlighted the drop in quality for the second season and claimed: “My friend worked on this show. They changed writers and showrunner from S1 to S2, as many networks do unfortunately. And the show paid the price for it. S1 was a delightful and cozy, S2 lost the plot. Not to mention there was basically zero promo when S2 was released.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

Another shared: “Not surprised by this one. While the show has its moments of being funny, overall it’s average at best. Maybe they were banking on Rob Lowe being in it as enough to gain an audience.” The renowned Rob Lowe is still appearing as Captain Owen Strand in the beloved Fox series 911: Lone Star and recently took on hosting duties for the brand-new quiz show, The Floor. Regrettably, his venture into streaming hasn’t been quite as successful, and news broke this year that Lone Star is due to conclude after its fifth season. However, one show that has been given the green light for another series on Netflix is romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, which launched on the streaming service at the end of September. Starring Kristin Bell and Adam Brody, the series follows them embark on a romance that is fraught with problems due to their differing lifestyles.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
