Mascara is one make-up essential I can’t do without, and in recent years, I’ve found that you don’t have to break the bank to find a fantastic one; some of my all-time favourites that I repeatedly purchase are from high street brands. However, even mascaras from brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, and Max Factor typically have an RRP around the £13-£15 range, reports the Mirror. So when I noticed that three of my favourite mascaras were all reduced to less than £10 as part of Amazon’s massive Spring Deal Days sale, I couldn’t resist adding them all to my basket. In fact, purchasing all three still costs less than just one of my favourite ‘high-end’ mascaras. Here are the three mascaras I’ll be stocking up on while the sale lasts… Best mascara for length L’Oréal Paris Paradise Big Deal Mascara Was £13.99, now £9.54 – save 32%

I prefer a spiky, silicone brush over a bristly one – which this one has, in a sort of concave shape – as I find them much better for reaching right down to the lash roots and separating my unruly lashes, which often grow in unwanted directions. It makes my lashes look lengthened and defined from root to tip. Catching a glimpse of my eyes in the mirror afterwards, I genuinely think it looks like I’m wearing false lashes after applying this mascara. I find that one coat is actually enough for me, but it layers up brilliantly, with no clumping. It’s no surprise to hear people singing the praises of Maybelline Sky High Mascara. While the original is fantastic for a natural look (and currently also on sale), it’s specifically this Cosmic Black version that I keep coming back to. My eyelashes are long (thanks to this lash serum) but the downside is that most mascaras aren’t robust enough to lift them up and keep them there all day. This one, however, does exactly that while also boosting the volume, and providing standout definition and brow-skimming length. It’s also the most smudge-proof mascara I’ve ever used. With a multi-size silicone brush that reaches every lash and a flexible formula to really stretch them up and out, this mascara makes the eyes look 1.4 times bigger, according to L’Oréal. I found that it ticked all the boxes: it provides great volume and length, coats every millimetre of every lash, and keeps the hairs lifted and locked in place all day long without flaking or smudging. I’ve also seen lots of other beauty experts heap praise on this little high street gem too. Elsewhere, the No7 Define and Enhance Mascara – which is great for a natural look – has been reduced from £15.95 to £14.35 at Boots. And for a luxury purchase, the popular Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara is currently discounted to £24 from £30 on Lookfantastic.
