This year has been no different and while there are a variety of designs you can choose from, there is one coat in particular that was so popular it sold out within days of landing on the website. Shoppers who weren’t able to get their hands on the Textured Buckle Coat are in luck – if you act quickly it has been re-stocked in a number of sizes from six to 20. You can choose from two colourways, Natural Beige or Dark Chocolate, however unlike some M&S pieces, there is no option for petite or regular with this coat. Priced at £75, it’s arguably a steal when you consider that some high street coats will set you back well over £100. It features hidden metal poppers, so you can do the coat all the way up and stay toasty, but the real star of the show is the clip fastenings. They’re a really unusual touch and give the coat a designer look. Hailing it the ‘perfect jacket for autumn’, one person wrote: “Cosy and comfortable jacket, useful hidden popper closers as well as the toggles, sizing spot on, great for autumn.” Another customer was delighted that Marks and Spencer have re-stocked, sharing: “I been looking at this coat for soooo long but unfortunately it was out of stock in all sizes, then came back in stock and I ordered straight away and OMG I’m so glad I did. This coat it’s so beautiful, fashionable and warm.”

However, there are a few less positive points noted by some people. One person said: “Gorgeous jacket, fits perfectly and really warm. The fasteners can be a bit fiddly but I love the look so I just leave them open or close one.” And another advised that it might not be suitable for extremely cold weather, commenting: “The chicest coat! Absolutely gorgeous colour (bought the dark brown). Fits true to size I would say. Not the warmest so wouldn’t suit in the depths of winter but fine for the average chilly day.” Other people were big fans of the fit saying ‘it’s so cosy without feeling bulky as well as being a great length’, and another writing that it ‘fits very well and has enough space for thicker jumper in the winter.’ Many have shared that they’ve received compliments since wearing the coat – a customer said: “Worn this lots of times.
