Brassic star Michelle Keegan and her hubby Mark Wright have given fans a sneak peek into their life as new parents, following the birth of their daughter Palma just two weeks ago. The couple announced the arrival of their little bundle of joy with an adorable snap last week, which was met with a flood of well-wishes from celeb mates and family members. Since then, they’ve been keeping followers updated on their journey into parenthood. Michelle, 37, treated fans to another glimpse of baby Palma on her Instagram Story this afternoon. The sweet snap showed the newborn chilling out on a mat, with one tiny foot stealing the spotlight. The Ten Pound Poms actress shared her feelings about motherhood in the caption of the black-and-white photo, simply writing: “Simply magic” followed by a star emoji, reports the Mirror.

Last week, Michelle and Mark revealed their daughter’s name in a joint post, following their pregnancy announcement back in December. In the heartfelt post, the proud parents expressed their newfound love for their little girl, writing: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25.” Mark gushed over his wife Michelle on Heart’s Saturday Breakfast show, which he presents with his mate Olly Murs. He praised the former Coronation Street actress as a “superhero” for her role in parenthood. When asked about his feelings, Mark couldn’t hide his joy, telling Olly: “It’s actually hard to put it into words. I’ll start by saying it’s the biggest achievement of my life. It’s all I think about.”

He continued, expressing awe at his wife’s strength: “But obviously, hats goes off to my wife. She’s an absolute superhuman superhero for bringing this baby into the world. “And it makes you realise, like what our mums did for us, and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women have to go through.” On the radio show, Mark shared his newfound fatherly bliss: “But other than that, it’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face. Every time I wake up, I’m like ‘oh, she’s there.’ And that moment when I held her in my arms, I mean, it gets me emotional now thinking about it.” Wrapping up his heartfelt sentiments on last weekend’s episode, he said: “It’s just, I suppose, everything else goes out the window. And it’s made me realise what life is all about. And my little baby, Palma, I love you so much. I can’t wait to spend my life with you.”
