Privacy NoticeMeghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix deal is on the brink of wrapping up, sparking buzz about the Sussexes’ next financial moves. With everything from book deals to endorsements and possible real estate ventures being speculated as their new revenue streams, all eyes are on what they’ll do to maintain their lucrative profile. Royal commentator Tom Bower has added his opinion into the mix, suggesting Meghan could be sat on a “gold mine” with an autobiography in the wake of Prince Harry’s successful release of ‘Spare’. Speaking on TalkTV, the mastermind behind ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors’ remarked: “The only thing she has got left – and I think that is her potential gold mine – is her autobiography.”

Tom continued: “She has a very very vivid imagination and she’ll be able to spell out an amazing story… to increase her income.”

Tom levelled a cutting review at Meghan’s acting abilities, alleging: “The problem is, she isn’t a great actress. Her acting career ended long before she arrived in London – that’s why she came here. She couldn’t find any more work after Suits.” Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Productions could be feeling the pinch due to escalating costs in the entertainment industry, which have escalated following last year’s actors and writers strikes. Insiders whisper that the couple is approaching a “make-or-break year” that could potentially spiral into a financial nightmare.

Speaking with The Express, a source didn’t mince words, cautioning: “What immediately worries me is the alarming lack of any other original content on their roster.” With just one fresh project announced with Netflix as part of their multi-year, multimillion-dollar deal, eyebrows are raising about the Sussexes’ future with the giant streamer. Their upcoming endeavour, an adaptation of the smash hit ‘Meet Me at The Lake’, saw Netflix reportedly shell out $3.8million for the movie rights. But the source couldn’t help but worry: “Netflix bought the book they are adapting but the question everyone in Hollywood is asking is: Can they actually pull this off without either of them having any real prior experience? This is a make-or-break year for them in every sense.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
