Privacy Notice Meghan Markle has been criticised by a Royal expert for reportedly having a meltdown after a challenging interview in America where she allegedly “couldn’t stand” being with Prince Harry. The couple spoke to presenter Jane Pauley in a new interview on CBS Sunday Morning in the US, and appearing on Dan Wootton’s Outspoken show, royal biographer Angela Levin shared her thoughts on the couple’s interview – alleging that the Duchess had been “screaming” and was “very annoyed” over the experience. Broadcaster Dan Wootton remarked: “It certainly wasn’t a good 43rd birthday for the Duchess of Sussex, was it? For their first sit-down together since Oprah Winfrey…back on CBS with another experienced TV professional from America…despite all that, it was a real car crash.”

During the interview, presenter Jane asked Meghan about her suicidal thoughts, which she first admitted to during her interview with Oprah Winfrey. But with Meghan admitted that she ‘wasn’t expecting’ to be asked the question, Angela claimed that she was left less than impressed after the interview. “After the interview was over she was apparently screaming to the producers, very, very annoyed at what they had asked her,” began Angela. “You mustn’t do that with Meghan because she’s in control. But you could see she couldn’t contain her anger, her fury. “Just the same as in and out of the interview, she couldn’t stand Harry speaking. She would look at him with such harsh eyes and such a terrible expression on her face because she didn’t want him to talk, I imagine.”

Angela also claimed that Harry is in a ‘bad place’

The royal biographer continued to claim that Harry looked ‘so unhappy’ and at a ‘complete lost’. “He is really lost at the moment… I think that he’s in a very, very bad way,” said Angela. She added that they are at a stage where they ‘can’t stand each other’. Their heartfelt conversation with Jane was the couple’s first joint TV appearance since 2021. The interview, which was filled with emotion and centred on issues they hold dear, saw them launch The Parents’ Network, an initiative aimed at helping families affected by the loss of children due to cyberbullying-related suicide. The interview was laden with feeling, and Meghan often appeared to find comfort in her husband’s company.

Judi James, a body language specialist, provided insights to the Mirror, pointing out three specific actions from Meghan that disclosed her true emotions. She noted: “As Meghan shares her own story of suicidal thoughts she performs several hair-preen rituals and a wry, mirthless smile that suggests she is being politely brave.” She continued, “Her hand goes out to hold Harry’s leg as though seeking his support although he sits relatively still with his head cocked, watching her face with what looks like concern.” Judi also commented on Harry’s response, saying: “When he looks down his fingers rub together in what looks like anxiety as Meghan describes what she has ‘overcome’ after ‘not being believed’,” reports the Express.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
