Posting a picture of his wife Laura Lewington in a stunning floor length red gown, Martin penned: “Mrs MSE just sent this, think Im going to be seriously outshine tonight (but I’m quite happy about it).” As he sweetly complimented his wife of 15 years, fans took to the comments to also express their compliments to the couple. “Have a great night, both of you… keep shining brightly and thanks for all you do!” one exclaimed, as another wrote: “Mrs MSE looks amazing.”

“Well Martin if you don’t win tonight after your amazing speech on Mental health and finances then I don’t know what the world’s come to!! Fantastic work! Best of luck tonight!! Xxx” exclaimed a third. Another wrote: “Mrs Lewis you look absolutely gorgeous. Martin is a very lucky man!” Before entering the O2 for the ceremony, Martin and his wife Laura, who have been married since 2015, posed arm in arm on the red carpet, as they smiled for the camera. Laura stunned in her floor length red dress, as she styled her long blonde hair in effortless waves. Martin, 52, looked dapper as he opted for a blue three piece suite, with a black tie and collar detail.

Money Saving Expert Martin was up for an award for Factual Entertainment for the Martin Lewis Money Show, but unfortunately, he was beaten in the category by Loose Women star Stacey Solomon, who took home the gong for her hit show Sort Your Life Out , as she was visibly overcome with emotion when her name was read out. Stacey beat huge competitors including Clarkson’s Farm, Gogglebox, and The Yorkshire Vet in the factual entertainment category. The former X-Factor live finalist, who was joined by her son Zach, 18, thanked the fans who opened their homes and hearts for the show. “It’s the hardest show ever to make and they work so so hard. My amazing co-presenters,” she told the crowd at the O2 arena London. “I’m so grateful I get to do a show like this, I want to thank the families who let us into their homes.
