The 42 year old, who is also a mum to three year old Oliver, welcomed her second child, Carter, with her husband Cameron Merchant on 23 July 2024. The family have been wrapped up in their baby bubble after announcing the safe arrival of Carter and Jules delighted fans as she shared an adorable snap of her newborn. Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, 25 August, Jules posted a photo of her baby boy cuddled up fast asleep on her chest.

She lovingly wrote the caption: “Love his mummy… loves to be in my arms always to sleep… half eeekkk half awww [love heart emoji] #4weeksold.” Jules could be seen in a cosy jumper as she smiled in the snap while soaking up her baby bubble bliss. Jules fell in love with her husband Cam when they met on the sixth season of MAFS Australia in 2019. They became fan favourites and after the show, moved in together and officially tied the knot before welcoming their first son, Oliver in 2020. The proud mum of two announced news of baby Carter’s arrival on Instagram with a bundle of professional photos taken at the hospital shortly after giving birth. She wrote the lengthy caption: “Carter James Merchant. You are just perfection. We have a beautiful healthy boy!! 23/7/24.

Family of four now. I love you.” She went on to explain the meaning behind the name Carter and said it holds “spiritual significance” and that those with the name are seen as “hardworking, loyal, disciplined, and protective”. Jules ended the post with: “Huge appreciation to all the midwives at Northen beaches hospital, your care, empathy, knowledge, sincerity and support is something we are so grateful for.. thank you for all you do.” After sharing their baby joy news, the couple were flooded with congratulations from fans and were labelled the ‘biggest success of MAFS’. One wrote: “It was so instant love I remember watching it thinking awww how sweet and so glad you both lasted and have an amazing little family.”
