Privacy NoticeMarried at First Sight fans watched a new couple walk down the aisle in tonight’s episode (Monday 7 October) – but viewers have already branded them a “terrible” match. Stephen Nolson and Hannah Norburn seemed like a pair who could potentially go the distance, that was until Stephen, 33, revealed that he already had four children. Worrying how Hannah would react, Stephen waited until after the wedding and during the reception to reveal he already had a young family. As Stephen dropped the bombshell on his new wife, fans took to Twitter, not happy with the latest coupling with one saying: “This was a terrible terrible match #mafsuk”.

Stephen had big news to break to Hannah on their wedding day

Another wrote: “Children is the biggest thing couples need to be compatible on for this and so far there’s been very iffy pairing based on that #MAFSUK”. A third said: “Nah the experts took the p*** with this one I can’t lie”. A fourth added: “She definitely doesn’t like the fact he’s got four children”. When Hannah asked Stephen about his family, he finally spilled that he has four children from a previous relationship, a 14, 12, eight and seven year old who live in Leeds with their mum. As Stephen revealed the truth about his family, Hannah spoke to the camera and said it had raised “flags” for her. Hannah then asked Stephen whether he’d want anymore to which he responded: “It’s really hard to say yes or no”. But ultimately agreed if he met the right person, that he would.

At the time, Stephen became a Mormon due to his ex-wife belonging to the Mormon Church. Talking about his previous relationship to the Metro, Stephen insisted “I was young” and said he was hoping to “understand” who he is now as a partner 15 years after he first walked down the aisle.

The experts, Paul Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas, are tasked with matching the singles together, but have come under scrutiny over more than one love match in the 2024 series. Adam and Polly, who are already in the experiment, caught the eye of fans from the moment they set eyes on each other with Adam saying she was “not my usual type”. One posted on social media that the latest matches were “terrible”, adding: “What r the ‘experts’ up 2? The ‘science’ ain’t working.” Another wrote: “Well that was awkward Polly and Adam”. Someone else said: “I’d really like to know how many men and women applied for this show because the matches are quite poor so far.” Another couple who viewers believed have been badly matched by the ‘experts’ are Caspar and Emma. While Emma was quite smitten from the start with her new husband, Caspar said Emma reminded him of her sister.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
