Privacy NoticeThe new series of Married at First Sight continued last night, with one woman seemingly calling it quits and threatening to leave the experiment for good. Whilst on their honeymoon Charlie Curtis made the very telling comment following an explosive row. Things got too much for Charlie and her wife Eve Reid as they became embroiled in yet another argument during their honeymoon. The pair constantly clashed on their break away stemming from Eve refusing to stay in the couple’s shared hotel room for any of the honeymoon despite the couple having been intimate with each other a “few times” on the show.

Charlie Curtis threatened to ‘quit’ MAFS in the latest episode

The pair were in a luxury resort in Mexico and whilst their romantic getaway began smoothly with Charlie describing Eve as the ‘girl of her dreams’, but the couple soon stopped seeing eye to eye. As Charlie expressed her frustrations that Eve “shut down” when they tried to address their problems, her new wife was left storming off for the third time this episode (Wednesday 18). This caused Charlie to hit out as she slammed Eve for “walking away” from their issues once again. Eve said that she wanted to take herself ‘out of the situation’. Then Charlie butted in to say: “You don’t respect anything I say or do!” To which Eve responded: “Are you saying I don’t respect you?”. It was shortly afterwards that Charlie declared she would be leaving the show. Sign up to OK!’s TV newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

Charlie shouted out to Eve: “I’ll be leaving the experiment now. They’ll be no moving in together, no apartments, nothing – Goodbye! I’ll go and enjoy my evening – alone.” As the episode drew to a close on Wednesday evening, it remains to be seen if Charlie and Eve will return to the show or if their marriage is one of the programme’s least successful to date. On their wedding day, the pair discussed how they deal with conflict. After they were married, Eve said: “When one of us is annoyed, give us five minutes to calm down. WHen I’m in an argument with somebody, I just shut myself off completely. I’m not very dramatic.” To which Charlie responded: “I am.”

Caspar also had a rocky start to his honeymoon

Also on their honeymoon were Emma Barnes and Caspar Todd who were spending time in Jamaica. On their first day, the pair visited a waterpark. But after a day of fun in the sun, Casper dropped a bombshell that he hadn’t felt the ‘spark’. Caspar confirmed that she was reminding him of his sister, he explained: “Watching you and her laugh together, there’s an element and sort of mannerisms – I’m equating one with the other and it’s not good.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
