Marks and Spencer’s ombré sweatshirt looks more expensive than its price tag suggests (Image: M&S)We have good news for anyone looking for a cosy and affordable addition to their wardrobe — Marks and Spencer is offering a winter jumper that looks far more ‘luxurious’ than its £27.50 price tag. The sweatshirt, which has an eye-catching ombré design that’s bound to turn heads, has quickly become a bestseller amongst M&S shoppers. This trendy piece will look great with jeans or leggings for casual days and can also be worn over skirts and more formal trousers for a more dressed-up look. The jumper, available in sizes XS to XL, is cut in our regular fit, with long sleeves and a crew neck. The star of the show, though, is its ombré design, which elevates an otherwise basic staple piece. The gradient effect effortlessly elevates a classic design for a more sophisticated, modern look. One M&S customer raved: “I love this sweatshirt. The colours are lovely. It’s super soft and very comfortable. It washes nicely, too. ” The Manchester Evening News reports. Another said: “Really comfortable and great-looking sweatshirt and very ‘now’. I took a medium, and I am usually a 12-14, and it looked just right — not too baggy but not too close fitting for the oversized look it is meant to be.” “Everyone admired this top; it goes well with the cream tracksuit pants I got with it,” shared one happy customer. Another chimed in: “Really good design. It’s a good value-for-money sweatshirt. Great, as the days are turning colder.” Another shopper commented, “Good quality sweatshirt that will go with lots of clothes. ” A different person said, ” I love the ombré effect on this sweatshirt. It’s very subtle and looks great with black, brown, or cream. Excellent quality, true to size, and very cosy.” However, not everyone was pleased, with one customer noting: “The quality of the material was good, but it came up very large for me. I shall return the item this week.” In other fashion news, Oliver Bonas’ pink and orange ombré sweatshirt is more vibrant than the M&S option but also more expensive, at £50. At Next, this £38 oversized ombré gradient sweatshirt is a similar option and comes in two colourways.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
