Crafted from viscose, the dress appears to be light and airy, perfect for sunnier days. It can easily transition from day to night with a simple change of shoes. The Floral Round Neck Tie Detail Midaxi Tea Dress only recently dropped at Marks and Spencer for £45, but those who have snapped it up have awarded it a 4.5-star rating. One said: “Light material. I’m 5f1 size 12, got regular length as petite is usually short in the body. Great fit but very long. I will have to take it up.” Another shared: “I love this dress! fits beautifully, nice spring/summer dress.” A third raved: “Really impressed with this pretty dress, great for the coming months, can be dressed up or down. Quality feels good, zip a nice touch, I sized up as I am between sizes, so feels very comfortable.” Although they did share one slight qualm: “The body of the dress is not lined and for the price level I would not expect this”, however added: “But the sleeves are, so a bonus!” “Beautiful dress that’s true to size,” said someone else who liked the fact that “it does have a side zip so easy to get on and this gives it a lovely shape”. While many loved the look of the dress, some had some recommendations to make it better: “At 5’3”, petite size falls to 2-3” below my knee. I would possibly have preferred a longer length of regular size, but the bodice on it was too long for me. “I would also have preferred angel sleeves rather than puff sleeves, and I think edging around the neck is unnecessary,” although they concluded: “Nevertheless, I like the dress.” For shoppers after a bit of breathing space, consider going up a size, as the bodice seems quite fitted, particularly for those blessed with a fuller bust. For those who fancy longer sleeves and a more flowing skirt, M&S’ Lyocell Rich Printed Tie Detail Midi Waisted Dress is £35. It features 3/4 length sleeves with a trendy balloon shape and a flattering cinched waist akin to the tea dress. Shoppers are already singing its praises, with one fan gushing: “Beautiful dress, lovely shape, good fabric. Can’t wait to wear it.” Another chimed in: “Very pretty dress, fits beautifully and looking forward to wearing I.T..” However, not everyone’s sold on the ‘very thin material’ and a waistline that’s ‘way too high’. If you’re smitten with the design of M&S’ Floral Round Neck Tie Detail Midaxi Tea Dress but fancy a change in colour, Nobody’s Child’s Cream Ditsy Floral Felicia Midi Dress is a great alternative. Priced at £59, it features a charming red rose ditsy print and is finished with ruffled shoulders, a high neck, and a flattering empire line skirt. Alternatively, If you prefer a white background with delicate pastel flowers dotted around, Hobbs’ Fielding dress is on sale at £69. It has ballet sleeves, a crew neckline and a similar body-skimming cut. Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.
