Privacy NoticeA major development in Meghan Markle’s controversial new Netflix show has been revealed. The new series is expected to align with the launch of Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Rivieria Orchard, and is well on its way to being released. Following sightings of the Duchess of Sussex in a Beverly Hills park, the Netflix series has reportedly finished filming. Sources have shared that everything “all went well” and is ready for release. The series, believed to focus on gardening, lifestyle, cooking and wellness, was announced earlier this year. In spring, it was revealed that Meghan was developing a programme to “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship”, while her husband Prince Harry was working on a polo-themed show, reports the Mirror US.

An insider provided an update on Meghan’s lifestyle show, part of her and Harry’s lucrative deal with Netflix. They told The Daily Beast: “It [filming] all went well and it is in the can.” Meghan was recently seen filming in Beverly Hills after a TikTok video shared by the LA Girl showed the Duchess of Sussex with her team near the $14 million Montecito mansion where she and Harry live with their two children. This follows the couple’s recent rebranding efforts. Meghan unveiled her new brand, American Riviera Orchard in March with a grand Instagram debut featuring a luxurious logo and a rustic-style promotional video. A website was subsequently launched with an option for fans to sign up, but the brand has been silent since.

The only updates regarding ARO are the packages Meghan sent to a select group of influencers and celebrities, including Kris Jenner, who received some ARO strawberry jam as a gift. Meghan’s lifestyle move marks a departure from the anticipated “tell-all” book that royal watchers were expecting her to release. Emma Clifton, writer for Australian Women’s Weekly, hinted that this new business direction is likely a welcome development for the Royal Family. Celebrity publicist Waylon Tate also commented to Australian Women’s Weekly on the distinct branding of the project. Waylon noted: “What I’ve seen so far, although she’s been pretty clandestine about it everything surrounding this new brand, is that it’s Meghan and it’s Meghan alone. You can even see it on Instagram. It’s not Meghan and Harry – it’s by Meghan.”

Adding: “This is the emancipation of Meghan. It’s her saying, ‘I’m a smart, savvy businesswoman. And here’s an introduction to my family on my terms’.” Clifton observed: “Considering how much anticipation there was for Meghan’s supposed ‘tell-all-novel’, her pivot into domestic goddess should surely mean there are a few sighs of relief around the palace…for now.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
