Privacy NoticeMarried At First Sight wasn’t all newly-wedded bliss during the episode on Wednesday 9 October, as one of the new couples spent their honeymoon arguing and eventually spending the last two nights in separate rooms. Hannah and Stephen had already been branded a “terrible match” by viewers who watched their wedding day on Monday, but things got much worse once they reached their holiday destination in the Dominican Republic and Stephen discovered his new bride could not be trusted with a secret. The pair came to blows after Hannah decided she would rather go to drinks instead of dinner one evening, despite Stephen feeling hungry, and he challenged her for not taking his feelings into consideration. Their conversation deteriorated into a full blown argument, and during the row Hannah threatened to reveal a secret Stephen had told her to the cameras that were filming them.

He told her the confession was private, and was understandably furious when she threatened to spill it to the viewing public. “Don’t you dare go down that route!” he said, before admitting to the cameras that he had told her a secret about his family when the cameras weren’t on them. Gripped by the blow out between the pair, MAFS fans took to social media, trying to guess what Stephen’s secret could possibly be. Viewers who watched the couple get together earlier in the week are not surprised how badly the relationship is going, with many believing that Hannah has been too hard on her new spouse. “Hannah is struggling to understand Stephen cos she thinks the entire universe revolves around her and he is on the opposite side of the galaxy,” wrote one, while many commented that they knew it wouldn’t be a happy relationship following the couple’s wedding day, when Stephen revealed to Hannah that he had four children, aged 14, 12, eight and seven years old from a previous relationship. “This was a terrible terrible match,” said one fan, while another commented: “She definitely doesn’t like the fact he’s got four children.” A third viewer wisely stated: “Children is the biggest thing couples need to be compatible on for this and so far there’s been very iffy pairings based on that.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
