Privacy NoticeMarried At First Sight UK ’s Kieran and Kristina opened up about life after being on the show and the new fears they have with their new found fame. When Married At First Sight UK returned for a new season last month, there was one couple viewers instantly fell in love with – dog walker Kristina Goodsell and mechanic Kieran Chapman. Both as lively as the other, the couple seemed to be a match made in heaven when they met for the first time at the altar. Kristina was on the hunt for unconditional love, while cheeky chappy Kieran was looking for a laugh, even rocking up in ghastly fake teeth during the ceremony. This did not amuse bride Kristina one bit, leaving her to swear under her breath in an attempt to mask her utter astonishment. Now, after that first unforgettable encounter at the altar, the pair are going stronger than ever, but with overnight fame comes struggles and the pair exclusively open up to OK! on how they are managing their new way of life. Kristina says: “It’s been difficult, hasn’t it, Kieran? Trying to navigate life again has been tough. You go from living with each other to being back with your friends and family while catching up with work. But the welfare from the show has been good, they’ve been checking in and making sure we’re OK.”

Kieran feels the same sentiment, as he says: “It’s very strange to go from living in a bubble with your wife and all these amazing people you’ve met, getting into a routine, and then coming out and being like, ‘What on earth am I meant to do now?’ All you’ve known for the last three months is: wake up, be filmed with your partner and friends. You switch off from the outside world so it’s really hard going back into it.” While many of the other MAFS couples spent time arguing or disagreeing during their honeymoon, Kieran and Kristina got to know one another and struggled to stop laughing as they enjoyed their time together. MAFS fans have been cheering the couple on as they eagerly wait to find out if Kieran and Kristina’s romance is still going strong.

Taking to social media to comment on a clip of Kieran and Kristina, one MAFS fan said: “Best couple of MAFS UK ever! You’re so so cute together.” Another said: “OMG, please say this means you’re a couple!!” Someone else added: “Best couple in the history of mafs!!! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these 2!”
They are now happily married and navigating life outside of the show

When asked about the rise of their overnight fame, Kristina says, “It’s been overwhelming but in the best way. It’s a lot to take in but we’re just riding the wave.” While Kristina is overwhelmed, Kieran explains how shopping has turned into something more. He says: “I went shopping a couple of days after our wedding was on telly and I couldn’t walk for more than 50 metres and I had 10 selfies taken. I was like, “I just want to go to Primark!” But I’ve taken it as a compliment.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
