Opening up about her reality TV wisdom to the Mirror, Rosie said: “I’ve definitely learned boundaries and [how] to have my voice heard.” “I’ve grown up a lot and won’t let anyone lie to me, lie about me or try to slander me. I’m a 34-year-old adult and I won’t take sh*t from anyone.” Adding her own revelations, Lucy said: “[Made in Chelsea] was a really good opportunity to reflect on yourself and become self-aware. “I like to think that I’m relatively self-aware now and hope that I am not as judgmental as I used to be. I was quite judgmental in my 20s so hopefully I’ve grown out of that.” Finally, Binky opened up, confessing the real growth happened away from the cameras: “I haven’t necessarily learned anything from the show. I think it’s more that I’ve grown up. “When I hit my 30s I knew myself more and I don’t really give much care to what people think anymore. “Being on the show at such a young age and people being able to scrutinise you on social media, you just learn to get a thick skin and that I think has been the biggest thing, having a thick skin.”

Since her time on the show, Binky has become a mum of three and tied the knot with businessman Max Darnton. Lucy is now married to MIC alum James Dunmore and they became parents to a son in March. Meanwhile Rosie has kept her relationship status hush-hush and plans to keep it that way on Beyond Chelsea. On whether fans will get a glimpse into her love life, Rosie stated: “You’re never going to see me dating because that’s just not who I am.” She added: “But I do talk about where I’m at in life, I’m dating and enjoying it. I’m talking a little bit more in that respect because back in Made in Chelsea I never dated on the show and now I talk about it a little bit, but don’t go into too many details.” Lucy and Binky’s husbands will make appearances on the show and the duo shared that their partners have been supportive of this new endeavour. Binky revealed about Max, who will be making his TV debut on the series: “Max is super supportive of anything I do really, he doesn’t really bat an eyelid. He knew he wasn’t going to be the centre of attention on the show and was like: ‘If it’s going to benefit you, of course I’ll feature here and there.”

Lucy added: “James is no stranger to reality TV. We met on Made in Chelsea, which is very strange to say that I met my husband on TV. For him, it was not really that big of a deal. He’s familiar with how it works.” While dishing on the new series, which serves as a spin-off, the trio emphasized that this show is all about giving viewers a closer look at their lives. Opening up about the filming experience, Rosie shared: “This show has been shot differently to how we filmed Made in Chelsea, it feels much more personal, we’re letting everyone into literally our homes, our offices you know really so much more access than we gave before. I think it was shot in such a lovely way it just felt much more natural.” Beyond Chelsea starts on Tuesday October 29 at 10pm on E4.
