Privacy NoticePatsy Field entered the Love Island villa last month full of hope she would find a lasting connection, however, things weren’t meant to be as she was dumped after two weeks on the ITV show – which is set to finish with a grand finale on Monday 29 July. And now, the reality star has detailed her experience during an exclusive chat with OK! at Garnier’s Pride Celebration bash, admitting that life in the villa was more difficult than expected, as she recalls feeling like a ‘spare part’ on the show. “It was really hard. When you have a crush on someone you get that excitement and I didn’t have that. There was no spark with anyone that made it like, really exciting. “But really, I was just in there kind of like a spare part. It was like, ‘Oh, OK, so now What should I do today?’ So it was difficult.” Admitting she was disappointed to not meet anyone on the show, Patsy explained that she is looking for Mr. Right now, and has been feeling lonely.

“I have never been the one to want to settle down, I was 27 and still living that wild, like party girl life. And now something has just changed and I would like to find a guy and be serious with someone. I’m in my lonely era. I don’t do dating apps though, which is weird because I went on Love Island, which is like the biggest real-life app ever. “I thought that was, maybe, my moment to actually meet someone,” adds Patsy, who confirms she would try her hand at more dating shows to find The One. As we probe what Love Island was like behind the scenes, Patsy spills that there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to conversations in the villa. “It’s not scripted, but everyone knows that some situations are set up, like, conversations are set up. I was aware that they might push you to have certain conversation but I wasn’t aware that they prevent you from having conversations,” reveals Patsy.

She explains: “So, if I saw someone across the villa and wanted to go for a chat, I would head over and as soon as my bum touched the seat next to them, the voice of god would call you to the beach hut. And after, you go and chat to them again and then they’d be like, ‘No’. Obviously they’ve got situations in their heads that they want with certain people, and those conversations don’t fit the narrative.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
