Privacy NoticeAfter a tough time for Mimii Ngulube, which saw her dumped by Ayo Odukoya after he coupled up with Casa Amor newbie Jess, a bombshell is on the way to cheer her up. It’s been reported that the villa’s hunky new islander is semi-pro footballer Reuben Collins, who wants to take Mimii out on a date. The sportsman, who plays for Chertsey Town FC, is one of two new bombshells arriving at the villa to stir things up. “Reuben is one of the two new male bombshells who enters tonight. He causes quite the stir,” a source told the The Sun. “He’s gorgeous and super confident, so he makes great TV. He and his fellow new arrival go on a romantic candlelit tapas date with Mimii, Jessy, and Uma tonight, so perhaps Mimii won’t be single for long after her Ayo heartbreak.” Reuben recently enjoyed his team being promoted from the Isthmian League South Central after they finished the season as champions. The centre back has also played for a number of clubs, including AFC Wimbledon and Truro City.

In 2020, during an interview with Planet Football, he explained his passion for the game, saying: “It’s just the love of the game. Literally as soon as I could walk, it’s just been everything to me. If I could live at the training ground I would. “It’s hard to put into words. Just going out in the garden and doing drills, I find satisfaction in that. Currently, all my satisfaction in life is coming from football. I know that a lot of people my age have other focuses and influences but, for me, it’s always been football.” It comes as Mimii was left feeling physically sick after learning that Ayo had snogged and took bombshell Jess to the Hideaway as she stayed loyal in the main villa.

While Mimii Ngulube closed the door on anyone else during Casa Amor, Ayo Odukoya grew so close to new arrival Jessica Spencer that he ended up bringing her back to the main villa and recoupling with her. Heartbroken Mimii handled the shock decision with dignity as she simply remarked, “It is what it is.” When host Maya Jama asked Ayo if he had anything to say, he responded, “Not now. I don’t think it’s the time.” Fans soon took to social media to react to the explosive recoupling episode. One person wrote: “My heart’s broken alongside Mimii. How could Ayo do our girl like that? #loveIsland.” Another added: “After all this, if Ayo sticks with Mimii, I’m ringing Ofcom to complain #loveIsland,” as another chimed in: “Mimii will be the only victim tonight. She’s such a beautiful soul. Get Ayo out #loveIsland.” Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9pm and can be streamed via ITVX
