Privacy NoticeJess Harding, who won Love Island in 2023 with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Root, has revealed she now has a “normal job,” a year after sharing the £50,000 prize from the show. In an Instagram post featuring Jess in an orange bikini top and matching skirt, she wrote: “Would you like to join my team?” followed by palm tree and aeroplane emojis. She continued: “If you’re looking to make money whilst you travel, around your full time job, the kids or even home then listen up. When you book a holiday you can earn your own commission and become part of an amazing team!” She then linked to Travel With Jess and Sarah, a travel company where she is an online agent.

Jess rose to fame after she appeared in Love Island last year. The former beauty clinic owner and project manager Sammy Root won the hearts of viewers and the Love Island crown after reaching the final alongside costars Lochan Nowacki, Whitney Adebayo, Ella Thomas, Tyrique Hude, Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble. Unfortunately, just two months after scooping the Love Island crowns, Jess and Sammy announced that they had called time on their relationship as they had struggled to make things work outside the Mallorcan villa. In an interview with OK! following the split, Sammy said: “It was hard at first – that’s an understatement.” “When you’ve got so many people invested in your relationship and you’re doing it so publicly, it’s a bit mad. But I’ve got amazing friends and family and I’m so privileged to be in this position, so I feel like I can’t waste it and be stuck on one thing.”

He added: “I can’t change it [the breakup]. I’d rather just move on and wish all the best for Jess, and make the most of what I can for myself.” However, Sammy awkwardly snubbed Jess at the end of last year when he shared a number of snaps on Instagram reflecting on 2023 that included pics from the Love Island villa – but none of his fellow winner and ex-girlfriend Jess. Captioning the photos, Sammy, 23, wrote: “The best year of my life [prayer hands emoji] I have been fortunate enough to experience things I never thought I ever would and meet people that I’ll be friends for, for life. “I am so grateful to be in this position and I appreciate everyone that makes it happen [heart emoji]. A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me, it doesn’t go missed and I have so much love for you all.” Jess, meanwhile, revealed she had a new boyfriend in April this year. She posted a black and white photograph of herself and a man locking lips on her Instagram account, but didn’t share his name or show his face. She captioned the photo: “Date nights with bae.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
