Privacy NoticeEx-Love Island contestant Jess White has revealed that host Maya Jama ‘called out’ Diamanté Laiva during the very intense Casa Amor recoupling. Fans will recall the moment where Jess confronted Diamanté during the recoupling when she laughed at Uma Jammeh. Uma was upset after discovering Wil Anderson had been unfaithful to her during her time away – but Jess has now said it was actually Maya who said something to Diamanté first. Appearing on the Reality with Will Njobvu podcast, Jess said: “She was [laughing]. That was not edited. The only reason I said it is because the time when Uma was upset, that person was laughing at that exact moment. That all happened in real time. What you won’t know is Maya actually called her out and said ‘What are you laughing at, then?’ She said, ‘What is it that’s funny then, if you’re not laughing at that situation?'”

However, Diamanté has since taken to Instagram to hit back at Jess. She wrote: “I’m so sick of explaining myself on this matter. I literally turned to Uma and said, ‘to make it very clear, I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing at Wil’s excuses’. Uma then asked me, ‘What do you mean by that?’ I said, ‘it’s not my place to say’. “One thing I’ll never do is LIE. I’m not sure why you’re adding to the story? So bored of this now.” Uma and Wil then left the show together, Wil was told to leave when Reuben Collins chose to recouple with Uma. However, Uma shockingly then quit and decided to leave with him.

The pair have since been spotted together back in the UK and have shown they are still together with a loved-up display as they went to restaurant Sheesh and followed their meal with a trip to Luxx Club in London’s West End on Thursday 11 July. During the evening, Uma posted a photo of her outfit, with the message: “Just wanted to say major love to every single one of you!! Honestly couldn’t of imagined such a lovely reception from everyone.

“You honestly are all such angels. I have had the best experience ever and I have met such special people in there that will be part of me forever.
