Changes like fresh hairdos, weight fluctuations and evolving personal styles can make them look very different to what we see on-screen. But Love Island 2024 contestant Grace Jackson has gone above and beyond this, leaving audiences floored by a nostalgia-inducing university-era photo that reveals just how much she’s changed. This throwback snap surfaced in a dedicated Love Island Facebook group, alongside other similar photos of islanders like Trey Norman, Jess Spencer and Jessy Potts in their graduation get-ups as they savoured the thrill of their academic achievements. However, it was the 25-year-old Manchester lass Grace’s picture that stole the limelight, igniting tastebuds for some delicious speculation. The chatter was rampant as many followers confessed they didn’t recognise Grace at first glance. One person even channelled Nicky Graham’s iconic quote asking: “In the words of Nicky Graham… Who is she?” Anotehr echoed the same confusion, quizzing: “Who is this?” Some initially mistook her for newer contender Lolly Hart until a fellow fan corrected them.
Even after grasping the identity of the woman in the photo, some remained gobsmacked by the revelation. Responses ranged from incredulous exclamations “Looks nothing like Grace!” to candid admissions, such as: “I didn’t know who this was until I read the comments!” Meanwhile, other people were quick to point out that it’s not that surprising Grace looks different, due to her having cosmetic treatments. Grace has candidly shared her cosmetic journey, recently featuring in a TikTok video with aesthetics guru Dr Rosh.
Chatting about her pre-Love Island beauty plans, Grace revealed: “Definitely tear trough [filler], I’ve not had that done for over a year now so I feel like that really needs doing. I think maybe a little bit [of filler] in my chin, you know how we just round it off?” She also pondered on whether to enhance her lips, saying: “I don’t know what you think about lips, they’ve not been done for over a year. They’ve lasted really well. I over line them, so without lip liner I don’t know if they just need a little bit more.” Grace mentioned she’s had Botox in her forehead before but feels it’s still “fine” from the last session.
