The dynamic duo became the first Black couple to ever win the ITV reality show, edging out Welsh lovebirds Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel who secured the runner-up spot. Post-victory, it seems Mimii’s star is on the rise, with rumours swirling that she might be shimmying her way onto the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor later this year. Bookies have been quick to adjust their bets, with Coral slashing Mimii’s odds from 6-1 down to just 2-1, hinting we could see her grooving on BBC One when September rolls around. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s buzz that Mimii might also be braving the jungle, with her chances of joining I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here currently sitting at a tempting 6-4, reports the Mirror.

The betting suggests the former of those two looks most likely for her.” Despite not being the bookies’ top pick, Mimii and Josh left everyone gobsmacked, including themselves, as host Maya Jama announced they had won. Reflecting on her unexpected triumph, day-one islander Mimii shared: “I wasn’t expecting this,” confessing she felt “overstimulated, overwhelmed, grateful”. Earlier in the show, Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer bagged fourth place whilst Sean Stone and Matilda Draper secured the bronze position. Mimii’s journey in the villa wasn’t all smooth sailing after she found herself caught in a love triangle with Ayo and Uma Jammeh at the start of the season.

After sticking by Ayo during Casa Amor, Mimii was left heartbroken when he returned with new girl Jess on his arm. But then came Josh, who waltzed into the villa and had eyes only for Mimii, leading to them becoming a strong couple. The majority of fans took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate Josh and Mimii’s victory. A thrilled fan exclaimed: “I’m still on cloud 9.
