Love Island’s latest instalment turned into an explosive affair after leaked texts threw the villa into turmoil. Olivia Hawkins, who had previously been sent packing, stormed back into the scene during the semi-final, stirring up drama as she openly accused Grace Jackson of firing off incriminating messages before her dramatic entrance on the show. In Sunday night’s episode, the ousted Islanders returned with a chance to choose which couple should be dumped from the villa head of the final. The action heated up as Liv was the first to vote, with couples Elma Pazar and Sammy Root, Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint, alongside Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame on the chopping block. Not missing a beat, Liv used her moment to drop a bombshell on her mate Luca Bish, confessing that she’d caught wind of texts from Grace suggesting she’s gunning for a victory-forged romance.
Olivia Hawkins claimed that she had seen texts from Grace Jackson where she said she would do “anything” to win the show
“So I’ve seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the show this time from someone back home,” Liv spilled, shocking everyone in earshot. Harriett Blackmore didn’t waste time backing her pal, firing back: “She probably made it up babe, like she did with Ronnie,” reports the Mirror. Grace added: “Babe, that is absolutely not true. I do not care about winning this show.” As tensions mounted, Liv kept tight-lipped on her source, declaring: “I’ve seen the screenshots. I’m not saying who.” In a swift defence, Harriett took aim at Liv’s credibility: “Babe, you’ve made it up like you’ve made up that Ronnie was into you. F***ing go home, honestly. Is she alright?” However, the drama escalated when Samie Elishi, who also vied for Luca’s attention in the villa, chimed in. “We have seen the screenshots,” she stated. Grace denied sending the controversial text, saying: “On my life, I have never written that sentence in my life. It’s b******t, and someone’s forged that, that’s not true. I am gobsmacked.” Harriett then added her two cents: “Liv’s probably texted herself and used it as an answer. Babe, we all know you wouldn’t do that.” The tension didn’t stop there, with Liv deciding to vote for Harriett and Ronnie to be evicted from the villa – a move that Harriett didn’t take lightly. “Lol obviously,” she retorted. “The girl literally photoshopped her head on top of mine and sent it to Ronnie and he still didn’t want you outside and didn’t want you in the villa so you voted for us. “Everyone on the outside knows, it’s embarrassing.” When Liv alleged that Ronnie had told her their relationship was merely a PR stunt, Harriett shot back: “Look at you now. As if you’ve flown 13 hours to do that. Cringe.” Sadly, Harriett and Ronnie were the couple with the most votes, meaning they narrowly missed out on a spot in tomorrow’s final and were booted from the villa. Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
