However, his arrival was met with backlash from some viewers who claimed he “wasn’t really looking for love.” During Thursday’s (July 18) episode of the ITV2 dating show, the Islanders receive a text with details of the day’s challenge ‘Couple Goals’. The message reads: “Islanders, It’s time to reveal what you really think of each other in today’s challenge, Couple Goals. #IfTruthBeTold #NoHoldingBack.”

Amidst a tense and revealing game, it appears that everyone hasn’t been completely honest with their antics in the Villa. When asked which couple are the most likely to have their heads turned, Joey whispers: “I know something no one knows here.” And it isn’t long before this comes to light, explaining his decision to pick Josh and Mimii as most likely to have their heads turned, Joey reveals: “Mimii, there’ve been a few situations that I’ve been involved with that probably people don’t know about.”

When a confused Josh, asks: “What situations?” Joey replies: “Well, I was on a bit of a secret mission the other day.” Josh quizzes: “What mission?” Joey answers: “Well it’s a secret mission, I can’t.” Keen to hear what the secret mission was, the other Islanders chime in, with Sean saying: “I think you’ve got to share the secret mission.” As Reuben adds: “You’ve got to say it now.” But with Joey letting slip about the secret mission, will he come clean with the details? Fans will be aware that Mimii asked Joey to ask Ayo to meet her on the terrace earlier this week, out of the praying eyes of his partner Jess and her beau Josh.
