Privacy NoticeAyo Odukoya seems to be drifting away from Jessica Spencer, as fans speculate she might have given him “the ick.” The duo formed a connection during their recent stint in Casa Amor, but on Thursday, July 11, 2024, their lack of spark surprised ITV2 viewers who noticed Ayo still had his sights set on his ex Love Island partner Mimii Ngulube. Fan favourite and mental health nurse Mimii bounced back from being dumped by Ayo with the help of newcomer Josh Oyinsan, leading viewers to label them as the clear winners of this year’s series. However, Ayo is far from happy to see Mimii moving on and fans sounded the alarm for his current partner Jessica Spencer on Twitter.

“It wasn’t tough to watch mimi sad and crying for a week while you was kissing jess but it’s tough to watch her with next man oh okay ayo”, one viewer commented. Another vented: “Ayo if you’re “so happy” with Jess why’re you always worried about Mimii? ? ? ? LEAVE HER ALONEEEE.” A third added: “The reason why Ayo irritates me to the core is because it’s not as if he’s suddenly come to the realisation that he wants Mimii and is ready to treat her right. He wants to draw her back into triangle 2.0 so he can remain indecisive with her and Jess.” “Ayo is SICK saying he’s focusing on Jess but saying it’s hard to watch Mimi happy with another guy. He HATES seeing her happy He is a witch”, another raged. Meanwhile, Jess has viewers biting their nails with her futile attempts to extract a love confession from Ayo. One concerned fan wrote, “Jess can feel Ayo slipping away. She better graft”, while another cautioned: “Jess babe it’s giving desperate, be calm” Another chimed in with: “Jess is trying so hard, can she not tell Ayo is never gonna tell her the things she wants to hear?”

The drama follows the departure of some familiar faces including Uma Jammeh. Earlier this week, Uma made the decision to bid adieu to Mallorca after choosing not to pair up with newcomer Reuben. In Tuesday’s emotional episode, she confessed to Reuben that she only had eyes for Wil Anderson, despite their on-and-off Love Island journey. After stepping out of the villa, she shared: “I knew where my head and heart was at and it’s with Wil so I wanted to be true to my feelings for him”. Excited about a regular life outside the show, she added: “We can’t wait to just do normal things on the outside, stay inside and have a takeaway and go on cute dates. Wil wants to take me to Whitley Bay to see where he’s from, but we’ve also discussed him possibly moving to London so I’m looking forward to the future with him. The only way is up from here.” While discussing her newfound bond with the 23 year old influencer, she commented: “When Wil walked in I instantly felt a connection with him, he was all in for me which I really liked, and it was refreshing off the back of the Ayo situation. Once Wil took me to the other Villa for an overnight stay something clicked and I felt a special spark in that moment which made me realise he was the person for me.” Fans are excitedly awaiting confirmation of the Love Island air date. Given that the show usually airs for eight weeks, history suggests that the 2024 series might finish on Monday 29 July. There was another surprise when a new bombshell named Lolly arrived at the villa on Thursday, promptly whisking Joey Essex off for a spontaneous date at The Hideaway.
