Privacy NoticeFormer Love Island star Rosie Seabrook has shared the tragic news that her dad passed away suddenly. The 25 year old, who appeared in the South Africa series last year, said ‘words cannot even begin to express the pain I feel’. Rosie, 25, took to Instagram on Wednesday, 18 July to share the heartbreaking news that she had lost her dad unexpectedly last week. She shared a series of childhood snaps alongside her dad with the date “11.07.24” accompanied by a white dove and white heart. She wrote the caption: “I don’t think I’ll ever come to understand why this has happened, words cannot even begin to express the pain I feel, the sadness feels endless knowing there is a piece of me missing that nothing will be able to fill.

“Though we may be apart, you will always be in my heart and I will hold onto and cherish our memories forever.” She ended the message with: “I love you forever. Daddy’s little girl always.” Close friends and former Love Island stars showed their support in the comments. Jess Harding wrote: “Sending you soooo much love.” Tasha Ghouri said: “Sending love to you rosie.” “Sending you so much love beautiful girl. I am so so sorry thinking of you,” Anna-May Robey added. Samie Elishi also shared her support and wrote: “Sending you endless love.” “So sorry to hear this Rosie! Sending love”, Tom Clare shared, while Olivia Hawkins wrote: “Love you so so much!” The announcement comes a week after Rosie took a step back from social media to be with her family at an “extremely difficult time”. It has now transpired that the message she shared a week ago was on the day her dad tragically passed away. At the time Rose told her followers: “I’m going to be taking some time off of social media to be with my family at this extremely difficult time.” She asked that any urgent messages be sent to her management team in her absence. Rosie appeared in the 2023 winter series of Love Island in South Africa and was coupled up with Casey O’Gorman during her time in the villa. They left the show together, but once they were back in the UK their relationship came to an abrupt end.

Speaking about this, Rose said on YouTube: “Coming back to the UK we barely spoke if I’m honest. We were both with friends and family. That’s fine but for me, I think I did reach out and I didn’t really hear anything back.” She added: “I felt there was not any effort made. I think the doubts that I had in the villa became very apparent when we left Love Island and I feel it just confirmed what I was thinking.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
