Privacy NoticeLove Island Australia star Courtney Stubbs turned to her Instagram followers for help after finding a “badly injured” man in Bali, while holidaying with her partner Jack Millar and their baby. The reality TV star discovered American tourist Nariman Vaziri in a critical condition following a major car accident. Courtney, 26, revealed the ordeal to her Instagram followers, explaining how doctors were unable to operate on Nariman without the permission of a family member. She pleaded with her 112,000 followers to help track down the man’s family, saying: “An emergency in Bali, we are trying to seek this gentleman’s family’s details. We have contacted the American consult and they are unable to contact his family. He is very badly injured, it’s life or death. We have tried calling everyone. We don’t know where he is staying, we don’t know who he is with, we just found him on the side of the road and we got him to the hospital. He needs to have critical surgery but they can’t approve it until we get in contact with his family.”
Courtney shared an update with fans on Instagram regarding the situation
Thankfully, Courtney’s followers came to the rescue and her plea was met with plenty of help. She was later able to track down the man’s mother, and told her followers: “We found Nariman’s mum! The hospital is in contact. Thank you so much to every single person that has helped.” Courtney and Jack, 29, went on to reveal that Nariman had successfully received the surgery he needed and is now in a stable condition. She added: “We have spoken to Nariman’s aunty on the phone. His dad is coming to Bali to be with him. We will try to visit him in the hospital tomorrow.” Courtney later spoke to Daily Mail Australia about what had happened in Bali, saying she and Jack didn’t want to “share more” about the incident out of respect for Nariman and his family. “The saddest part of this whole accident is that he was surrounded by locals when found and no one was trying to help get him to the hospital,” she told the publication. “They were just filming. Some men helped put him in the ambulance once we begged them to.”

The Love Island star went on to say that she and Jack “didn’t hesitate” to stop and help as they “knew the hospital was nearby” and it was “the right thing to do”. Courtney also added: “We have learnt from this the importance of traveling with physical ID and to have emergency contacts set up on person or phones. Everyone deserves to be helped in an emergency and we hope anyone else would have done the same.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
