Privacy NoticeLove Island has been swamped with Ofcom complaints once again. The regulatory body received a flurry of 55 complaints following Sunday’s (July 7) episode of the hit ITV2 dating show, with a spokesperson confirming: “The majority of complaints related to Nicole’s behaviour towards Ciaran.” Nicole Samuel and her beau Ciaran Davies have been an item since week one, but their romance has been anything but smooth sailing due to clashes over his previous sexual history. Tensions soared during the show’s iconic Movie Night on Sunday, where islanders watched clips from their time in Casa Amor, sparking confrontations among many of the couples.

Love Island fans beg Ciaran to dump Nicole after post-Movie Night row exposes ‘worrying red flag’
Social media was ablaze with calls for Nicole’s removal from the villa after scenes showed her berating and cursing at Ciaran. One viewer expressed concern, tweeting: “Ciaran needs to split with Nicole this is never gonna get any better. He’s always gonna be the bad guy.”, reports the Mirror. Another chimed in with criticism about Nicole’s attitude: “Nicole has extreme jealousy issues. It’s already a bit of a toxic relationship and they aren’t even out of the villa yet. He spends a lot of time being accused and it will the end of them ultimately. She needs to work on her insecurities. It’s quite sad.” A frustrated fan commented: “Nicole is so insecure, it’s unbearable. Why is everything an argument? ? ? ” Meanwhile, another simply demanded: “I want Nicole out.”

One annoyed viewer wrote: “Nicole annoys me. Somehow we need to get Sean and Nicole out at the same time,” while another added: “I can’t stand Nicole she’s so insecure get her out.” The most recent spat between Ciaran and Nicole erupted after Ellie Jackson arrived at the villa, revealing a past connection with Ciaran. The pair had been exchanging messages before appearing on the show, something that left Nicole seething when brought to light. In a chat with Nicole, Ellie mentioned they’d been in touch for months, even meeting up once during a night out. This infuriated Nicole further since Ciaran hadn’t shared these details. Not one to settle for missing pieces, Nicole confronted Ciaran, demanding a wholesome recounting of his interactions with Ellie.

Ciaran seemed puzzled by Ellie’s insinuation of a deeper connection to Nicole. He retorted: “Nothing happened between me and her, I was not at all involved with Ellie, I was not.” Feeling there might be more beneath the surface, Ciaran decided to meet Ellie for another conversation. When accused of overdramatising their past relationship, Ellie defended herself saying: “I never said anything happened between us, you just weren’t honest. You said it was a couple of DM’s.” She continued: “I’m not being dishonest here, I’ve sung your praises to her. You don’t remember a lot to be fair. You don’t remember seeing me on a night out, you don’t remember asking me to come down. You literally sent me videos of your dogs on Snapchat, I’m not being funny.” It comes the show was hit with 475 complaints last week related to Jess White’s behaviour towards Harriett Blackmore.
