Tanya, 24, has wiped her Instagram clean of any traces of Shaq, despite their previously strong social media presence as a couple. Fans are in a tizzy over the sudden social media purge, with one commenting, “Aw I actually loved following them together on Insta and TikTok, they became one of my favourite couples.” Another fan expressed confusion over the extent of the deletion, saying, “I’d get deleting a few but deleting a day-old post and basically wiping him from her feed including the pictures from her family trip last year is very weird. That’s not normal clean-up behaviour.”

Despite Tanya’s social media cleanse and hitting the unfollow button on Shaq, he didn’t hesitate to cheer on the star for her academic achievements. Just last week, the Scouse beauty took to Instagram to share her graduation joy from the University of Salford, posting a picture in front of the iconic ITV and BBC studios adjacent to the uni.

“Beauty and Sciences. God is good,” she proudly wrote alongside her photo. Her post quickly filled up with congratulatory comments from fellow Love Island pals Tom Clare and Lana Jenkins, and even Real Housewives of Cheshire’s very own Lystra Adams chimed in. Shaq, not to be outdone, added his own praise: “Is there anything she can’t do,” accompanied by a love-struck red heart emoji. Post-Love Island life hasn’t been without its drama for Tanya, who admitted she wasn’t quite ready to face another meet-up with Shaq’s other sister after a tense encounter with one of his family members. In a memorable episode, Shaq’s sister pulled no punches when she called Tanya out over her Casa Amor antics, leading to an uncomfortable exchange.

Tahira warned Tanya that a serious chat was on the cards once they were back in the real world, telling her she was only just making it into her “semi-good books” following Tanya’s slip-up with Shaq. However, love conquered all, and the pair made amends, eventually moving in together a mere six months after their fourth-place finish on the show. She excitedly told her followers: “We have a new home. Guess there’s no escaping now. Have to thank God always for this next step in our lives.
