Privacy NoticeIslanders Mimii and Joey haven’t been on the best of terms for the last week and in last night’s episode of Love Island, tensions hit an all-time high as the pair came face to face. Joey approached Mimii while she was sat with Nicole and Jessy and said: “Mimii, do you like me?” She coldly responded: “You are not my fav person right now,” to which Joey replied: “You know I want the best for you, innit?” She fired back: “Act like it then. You can’t keep saying it is done and then you do it again. I just don’t appreciate the disrespect again and again and again.” After going back and forth and not getting to a resolution, Mimii said: “I am bored of this convo,” and stormed off.

Joey has also clashed with Josh, who is in a couple with Mimii, for the same reason as he attempted to support his ladylove in the situation. Fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions and it appears that people are siding with Mimii. One frustrated fan expressed: “The way Joey hates the gorgeous girlies, like first Grace now Mimiii, REST GRANDAD #LoveIsland.” Another person quipped: “Joey is obsessed with proving he was right that Mimii wanted Ayo to go to the terrace but given whatever the intentions everyone involved is over it he should respect their feelings, but no. Still got to prove he’s right #LoveIsland.” (sic) Somebody else penned: “I kinda need Josh and Mimii to win so Sean and Joey can seethe but I already know Nicole and Ciaran are probs gonna win #loveisland.” (sic) A fourth added: “Mimi, do you like me? Joey you’re so embarrassing.” alongside crying with tears emoji. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. The final airs on Monday 29 June.
