Privacy NoticeLove Island fans have been left ‘disgusted’ with the ITV2 show after they aired the infamous kissing challenge. Although the challenge takes place just about every year, fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to complain about the ‘cringe’ segment, even threatening to stop watching, much like the heart rate challenge. This year, only the girls were shown competing to win ‘best kisser’ from the boys, which was won by Matilda, who is currently coupled up with Sean. However, they’re not on the best of terms after he was caught out kissing Diamante in Casa Amor. Although it may have been a boost for Matilda, viewers on X, formerly known as Twitter, didn’t get the same satisfaction.

The challenge was ‘the calm before the storm’

Another couldn’t watch: “This kissing challenge I can’t!!” This years kissing challenge was the calm before the storm, as a shock eviction saw four Islanders dumped from the villa. On Tuesday night, viewers were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite girl and boy Islanders, with the ones with the lowest votes at risk of being dumped from the Island. Grace Jackson read the dreaded text: “Islanders, the public have been voting for their favourite girl and favourite boy, those with the fewest votes will be at risk of being dumped from the island tonight. As Josh and Reuben are the newest Islanders, they are not included in the vote.” Jessica S, Emma Milton, Jess White, Blade Siddiqi, Ayo and Hugo Hammond were named at risk of being dumped. Casa Amor boys Blade and Hugo were the first to learn they had to pack their bags, as they were joined by Emma and Jess White. It meant Ayo and Jessica S were saved, meaning they can continue their budding romance. However, it looks like there may now be a spanner in the works as Ayo admitted he ‘still has feelings’ for Mimii, after she’s now happily coupled up with new bombshell Josh.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
