In a shocking penultimate episode on Sunday night (July 28), previous islanders returned to the villa, leaving the remaining five couples stunned as they discovered their fate was in the hands of the former contestants. When asked who they thought shouldn’t make it to the final, Joey and Jessy’s names were mentioned multiple times. As the islanders delved into why they don’t see them as a compatible pair, reality star Joey and Jessy were devastated to find out they were being dumped from the island just before the final tonight. However, relationship expert Jessie Hutter also believes that the famous duo won’t last outside the villa, suggesting that Joey only joined the show to boost his career. Speaking on behalf of Heart Bingo, she said: “I doubt the sincerity of Joey in the Love Island villa. He had the opportunity to ask Jessy to be his girlfriend, but only asked for them to be exclusive when there’s no one else coming into the villa to turn his head.”

Maya Jama, the show’s presenter, asked: “You guys are now exclusive, are you going to move her in like you said you would..Is it Essex time? ” Joey seemed taken aback by the question.
