Ahead of tonight’s Love Island All Stars’s finale, betting odds now favour one couple as the front-runners, in a blow to the other islanders. Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore were dumped from the villa in a dramatic twist last night, leaving five couples – Grace Jackson and Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame and Elma Pazar and Sammy Root – now battling it out for the grand prize. Fresh odds have been released showing that Grace Jackson and Luca Bish are leading the love race with a favourite 4/6 chance of victory. Hot on their heels are Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard at 2/1, closely followed by Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman with odds of 3/1. Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame are on 16/1, while Elma Pazar and Sammy Root trail at the bottom with odds of 25/1, making them the least likely to win.

Alex Apati from Ladbrokes commented: “It’s been non-stop drama in the villa this series, and with three couples well in with a chance of going all the way tonight, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more twists and turns before close of play.” Last night’s bombshell saw former Islanders return to drop their verdict, resulting in Harriett and Ronnie’s shocking exit. Opening up about the emotional exit from Love Island, Harriett shared her feelings: “The easiest thing to say is that we did it [had a relationship] before. I was just a bit hurt because my friends were sat there and the people who helped me through my journey and tried to make me trust Ronnie again, threw it back in my face and said it wasn’t going to work”, reports the Mirror.

Ronnie chimed in with his own perspective: “The fake comments are crazy – did you see how much I was grafting? It’s mad. Even until last week I was still doing it, every day. We fully split up. Everyone’s going to have an opinion but the real opinion is me and H. That’s all I care about.” In other Love Island news, there was some concern as Casey reportedly needed urgent medical attention after a fainting incident led to him suffering a head injury. A source close to the villa said: “All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him. Everything is manic at the moment getting the content needed working up to Monday’s final so losing such a key cast member as Casey wasn’t ideal.”

Meanwhile, Scott Thomas made the choice not to re-enter the Love Island villa for the series finale. While his fellow Islanders flew back to make their final choices, Scott was conspicuously absent. A source told The Sun: “Scott didn’t want to go back in after quitting, so he told ITV no to flying back out. He achieved everything he wanted to on the show and didn’t see any point in going back. He just wants to focus on his business now.”
