Privacy Notice Love Island viewers were less than impressed on Monday night as host Maya Jama made her way into the villa for the highly anticipated final. As the show kicked off, ITV fans saw the presenter speak to the finalists ahead of taking a look back on what happened in the villa the day before. Although while she was speaking to the group, people were quick to notice the camera was quite blurry, making it hard to focus on the Islanders. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person fumed: “What’s with the blurry camera angles?” Another added: “Is it me or is the camera blurry on Ayo and Jess?” Someone else posted: “Why’s the camera blurry looks like they’re under water haha”

“Why’s it blurry? Lol,” questioned another viewer. A disgruntled fan fumed: “why did they put the camera in front of the fire? it’s blurring the camera lens” While another simply wrote: “Clean the camera man” Around the firepit, Maya spoke to Josh, who is coupled up with Mimii as she asked what was going through his head as he was one of the late arrivals. He replied: “Yeah I came in quite late but I’m buzzing the way it went, I was happy to get to meet Mimii and I feel like I won already, to be honest.”

The audience in the villa erupted into applause over Josh’s kind words about his partner before the attention turned to Nicole and Ciaran. Asking how the Welsh islander was feeling, she replied: “Oh over the moon, I never expected to be here, but to be here with Ciaran is even better.” Ciaran revealed he was really excited to be in the final and admitted he only packed to stay in the villa for just over a week. Turning to Jess and Ayo, Maya highlighted they were a rare successful Casa Amor story.

Confessing she didn’t expect to be in the final after her bombshell arrival, Jess said: “Yeah very shocked, but very very grateful and very happy.” Ayo, who has been in from the start of the show praised his time in the series as he also admitted his shock at getting to the end. Lastly, Maya couldn’t resist asking Sean what sweet she would be as he’d given all the other females in the villa a comparison. Laughing, he replied: “Ooh, you’ve put me on the spot here. You’d have to be a jelly unicorn, one of a kind!” Love Island is available to watch on ITVX,Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
