Privacy NoticeIt’s set to kick off on Love Island tonight, with ITV teasing a major row between two stars – resulting in the boys needing to intervene. After Tuesday night’s talent show, tensions are high in the villa with Josh Oyinsan taking issue with Sean Stone’s ‘sweet roast’, where he compared the other islanders to types of sweeties. Josh pulls Sean for a chat – but it soon goes awry. While Sean acknowledges that Josh is unhappy, Josh says that he didn’t like being compared to a sour dummy. “I just felt like it was a little bit uncalled for. Ideally I’d have preferred for you to not make a comment about such a touchy subject,” he says.

Sean replies with: “I didn’t think it would spark this much of a reaction.” However, Josh isn’t impressed, saying: “Honestly, if it’s a thing where this is you apologising, I don’t feel like taking it to be honest… I don’t think it’s sincere…I’m just fed up.” ITV teases: “But as Joey and Ayo head over to intervene, will the two be able to squash things?” The drama doesn’t stop there in Wednesday’s episode, with the cast becoming heated during the latest challenge, Couple of Sorts. The Islanders are faced with a number of poll questions – from which couple is the hottest and which is the most vain to which is the most genuine. They have to rank themselves in the correct order as voted for by the public. However, Matilda isn’t happy with one of the results, telling the others: “I’m not happy.” Meanwhile, when discussing which couples are staying together to win, Josh tells Sean: “If you wanna talk about grafties when I could talk about Casa.”

Joey then jumps in to defend Sean, saying: “You’re going round in circles mate, it’s boring.” Josh replies: “You’re not listening! That’s the problem bro, it’s like talking to a wall.” Mimii then chimes in, saying to Joey: “You’re actually a d***head…you’re just p*****g me off now.” Yesterday’s talent show saw the Love Island star show off a range of different – and sometimes unique – skills, however it was Jessy who emerged as the winner after performing in stilts. Meanwhile, some fans worried that Grace Jackson had caught the “ick” after watching Reuben Collins sing a rendition of ‘Singing in the Rain’ in a yellow raincoat. One viewer pointed out: “grace just got the ick LOOOL”. Another asked: “Why am I cringing for Reuben?” Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
