Ron Hall has made a splash once again in the Love Island All Stars villa, hoping for another shot at romance, but his ex Lana Jenkins isn’t staying silent. The 27-year-old, who reached the grand finale of ITV2’s Love Island with Lana and bagged second place, is keen on repeating his past success. He confessed: “I know it works from last time, I was a success story from it, I found love. Obviously it didn’t last, but, if it can happen again, great.” Despite trying to keep the spark alive beyond the cameras, Ron and Lana called it quits just three months after their season ended. As Ron re-enters the South African retreat as a bombshell contestant, Lana couldn’t resist sharing her reaction. Coinciding with Ron’s entrance, she shared an Instagram selfie, facepalming, captioned: “Stop it right now.” Teamed up with fellow bombshell Grace Jackson, Ron is gearing up to switch up his approach. He boldly stated: “I’m going to care less about people’s opinions,” adding that he won’t hold back this time around: “I’m going to care less if people are talking about me behind my back. I will say my piece on it. I’m not going to bite my tongue as much as I did last time.”

He added: “I had Lana by my side and I didn’t want to put her in that position. I was very respectful of that. But I will say my piece to someone if they need to be put in their place.” Not one to hide his confidence, he also shared his outlook on charm and character when finding a new partner: “I’m just the same lovely bloke I was last time, I genuinely am. I might be a bit cocky, but I am just a really nice bloke. I think people saw that I am one of the good ones.” Ron seemed to have invested a lot in his relationship with Lana, as it’s been reported that the couple had “really put everything into their romance” before deciding to part ways, reports the Mirror. Merely two months before their unexpected break-up, they spoke lovingly about their bond in an exclusive chat with the Mirror.

They were inseparable after leaving the villa, yet candid about having personal ambitions, particularly regarding their living arrangements. Lana recently shared: “We’ve only had about four or five days apart [since we left Love Island] but I think we’re just taking it slow.” She added: “We each want to buy a house by ourselves first and then we can share houses.” Ron shared: “I think we’ll do it like a normal couple. We’ll each have our own space and our own bases and then move in together when it’s that natural development.” But by July 2023, it was reported that Ron made a scene at an ITV summer party after being escorted out for yelling at Lana. According to reports, the unexpected run-in with his ex left him “visibly upset” following their break up.
