The series has been pushed back on ITV2 due to England’s Euro game against the Netherlands playing out on ITV. With the semi final match begins at 8pm the channel have pushed the reality show to 10pm so telly fans can enjoy both. However, a spokesperson confirmed to The Sun that Love Island “will be available to stream at 9pm on ITVX as usual”. This means no change for those who tune in online, or want to watch it at its usual time – and it’s an episode fans won’t want to miss with Uma Jammeh’s rumoured exit on the cards.

How to watch Love Island 2024 abroad from anywhere in the world

In tonight’s episode (9 July), Mimii Ngulube feels like a new woman after the arrival of bombshells Reuben Collins and Josh Oyinsan. After declaring they both were each other’s ‘type’ on their date, Josh wastes no time in pulling Mimii for a chat – and takes her up onto the Hideaway terrace. Josh tells her: “I feel like you’re a bubbly character, I just feel it takes the right person to get it out of you and I feel like that person is me to be honest. I think you compliment me, I think we go together.”

Reuben and Wil fight for Uma’s affection

Reuben and Wil Anderson battle for Uma’s affection. Reuben flirts up a storm with Uma and the pair discover they share a love of travelling. Speaking about her current couple with Wil in the Villa, Reuben adds: “You’re a loyal girl so it’s gonna take a lot, but I’m up for the challenge.” Reuben’s moves haven’t gone as unnoticed by Wil, as with competition on the horizon he pulls Uma for a chat, and tells her: “There’s a guy trying to steal my girl, it ain’t happening.”

The recoupling leaves Islanders looking shocked

Meanwhile, Hugpo Godfroy voices his doubts to the boys about his connection with Jess White. Hugo confesses to Ayo Odukoya that the conversation between him and Hess has been “dry”. Ayo encourages Hugo to tell Jess who he’s been feeling, but it won’t be an easy conversation. As evening falls, Sean Stone receives a shock text asking all Islanders to gather round the Fire Pit immediately. Then Reuben receives a text which reads: “Josh and Reuben it’s time for you to make a very big decision, please stand around the Fire Pit”. Next up, Josh then receives the next text which reveals: “As you are both single you must both decide to couple up with a girl of your choice, Josh you will choose first”. The power is firmly in Josh and Reuben’s hands, so who will they choose? Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
