Privacy NoticeFrom drug charges and drink driving, some Love Island stars have found themselves in a spot of trouble after their time in the villa has ended. A 29 year old woman who appeared on the Polish version of Love Island, Magdalena Sadlo, has recently pled guilty to transporting a class A drug between March 2022 and May 2023 at Carlisle Crown Court in a massive £53million drug smuggling operation in the UK. In what’s been described as one of the UK’s largest ever drug busts, she was arrested by police after flying into Heathrow from Dubai as part of an investigation dubbed Operation Matrix, reports MailOnline. She has been held in custody and is awaiting sentencing later this year. But Magdalena not the only Love Island star who has run into trouble with the law. We take a look at the other cast members who have had brushes with the law …

Back in March this year, it was announced that Love Island star Jack Fincham avoided being sent to jail and was handed a driving ban after he admitted to speeding, driving on false plates, and under the influence of cocaine. The reality star was handed a 12 week suspended sentence which had been reduced from an initial 16 week suspended sentence due to his early guilty plea. The driving offence took place last August when authorities caught him driving along the hard shoulder during heavy traffic. He was stopped by officers in an unmarked police car after they spotted him driving a white BMW without due care and attention. It was reported that Jack provided a negative breath test, however tested positive for cocaine after a drugs test.

The judge said in court that it was “extremely lucky” that no accidents were caused due to Jacks actions. Following his appearance in court, Jack had to complete 250 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions. The judge also disqualified Jack from driving for 67 months, which took into account the remaining 31 months of his previous conviction in October 2023. Fellow Islander Kaz Crossley was reportedly arrested and jailed in Dubai – which has a zero tolerance approach to drug and alcohol offences – last February. Kaz then claimed she suffered hair loss of late as a result of the stress she faced after being held in custody for five days in the United Arab Emirates.

The Love Island star was detained at Abu Dhabi airport in connection to a video of her sniffing a white substance in Dubai in 2021. Reality star Anna Vakili also claimed she was arrested back in 2021 after calling the police with fears that she would be kidnapped. The TV star, who found fame on the ITV dating show, alleged that she spent the night in a jail cell with her sister Mandi after they were handcuffed outside The Dorchester hotel in London. Anna said she got into an argument with her sister as they waited for police, who she claimed arrested them on suspicion of common assault when they arrived at Park Lane.

“Not long ago we ended up spending the night in jail,” Anna told The Sun at the time. “We got arrested for fighting each other – it wasn’t even a physical fight.” Anna claimed that she “never thought in a million years” they would get arrested. Back in 2017, Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst was also arrested. She was charged with drink driving after being stopped by police in Sussex and failing a breathalyser test by the side of the road. Chloe was arrested at the scene and later charged. Chloe’s representative released an exclusive statement to OK! about the incident at the time.

She said: “Initially, I would like to apologise on behalf of Chloe for her error in judgement. Chloe is fully aware that her public profile comes hand in hand with responsibility and at this stage does not want to comment beyond offering her sincerest apologies to her family, friends and supporters for any embarrassment she may have caused.” Elsewhere, Zara Holland was reportedly arrested for attempting to leave Barbados after her boyfriend tested positive for coronavirus back in January 2021. It was claimed Zara and her boyfriend Elliot Love tried to fly back to the UK to avoid spending time in quarantine facility Paragon Military Base after Elliott reportedly tested positive for coronavirus. According to The Sun, Elliot tested positive for coronavirus and the pair were given red wristbands to wear, but cut them off and attempted to flee to the airport.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
