ITV’s Love Island: All Stars may have crowned its 2025 winners, but the drama is far from over. Fans believe they’ve discovered the truth behind Olivia Hawkins’ claims that Grace Jackson was playing a game to win, and the supposed direct messages between the runner-up and another ex-Islander, stating she’d do “anything to win”. Grace Jackson and Luca Bish missed out on the All Stars win as Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman took home the top prize for the series. The winning couple looked utterly shocked on Monday night when they triumphed over the so-called Barbie and Ken pair, and fan favourite Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who came third with new beau Curtis Pritchard.

In the penultimate episode, evicted Islanders were brought back into the villa to vote off the last couple before the grand finale. As Harriet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint were voted off,– a warning from Liv left viewers craving answers to what has been the biggest drama of the entire series. Liv seized the opportunity to warn Luca – the boy she had her eye on, along with Kaz Kamwi and Samie Elishi – that she had seen DM’s sent from Grace stating the blonde beauty would do “whatever it takes to win”. Liv dropped a bombshell, saying: “So I’ve seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the show this time from someone back home,” leading to a storm of controversy. Grace and her close ally Harriet stood firm, swearing that playing games was never Grace’s style, but scepticism spread among fans when ex-Islander Mitch Taylor leaked what seemed to be damning evidence on Snapchat—a screenshot with Grace appearing to write, “Aww thank you babe. I will win this time! I’ll do anything to,” reports the Mirror.

Mitch didn’t stop there; he even shared a video clip to prove the account belonged to Grace. Yet, after Gabby and Casey had their winning moment on Love Island: All Stars, Mitch changed his tune, hinting that the screenshots might be phoney, posting: “I don’t know who the receipts are from, I got sent it loads all I know is Casey and Gabby won”. In a shocking twist, during an Insta live, Mitch reportedly owned up to creating the fake DMs himself—though he later retracted the statement. One Love Island fan took to TikTok, spilling the tea with a video and the claim: “Messy Mitch has confessed on a live stream last night that he faked the whole messages with what Liv was saying about Grace saying she wants to win.” On another social platform, an intrigued viewer shared their opinion, posting: “Messy Mitch lying about the grace texts to help his mate win is wild btw and admitting it right after Casey won is even wilder. I know Grace is gonna get him #loveislandallstars” In a plot twist, however, Mitch has strutted back onto his own social media stage to declare his innocence in the DM drama. Scribbling on his Instagram story, Mitch set the record straight: “Afternoon, guys I was gonna let this one naturally die down, but I can’t let lies drag me even more. I’ve said on my Snapchat I got sent the screen recording so respectfully stop saying I made them.” It looks like Mitch has slammed the door shut on his comments section on a fresh Instagram post amidst this scandal. And when asked to spill the beans, Mitch’s rep assured the Mirror: “Mitch shared something he got sent and asked his followers if it was real or fake. Nothing more or out of the ordinary for social media.”
