Privacy NoticeLouise Thompson has responded to parenting critics as she gave an update on her son Leo’s health. The former Made In Chelsea star hit back at “cheeky” viewers who questioned why her son Leo was in a nappy as she explained the reality of the situation. In a video uploaded to her Instagram Story, Louise, 34, sat in her kitchen as she promoted her new podcast alongside little Leo as she addressed the comments that she’d received. “Someone asked me yesterday why you’ve got a big nappy on, and actually we do need to change don’t we, but you’re fully potty trained it’s only because you are not very well at the moment. And at night time, you’re wearing a nappy,” she said.

Giving further insight into the situation, the doting mum captioned the clip: “And for the cheeky 2x people (only 0.001% of viewers) that commented on the fact that Leo had a nappy on yesterday morning… he has worn one overnight for the last few days since being unwell.” It comes after the first episode of He Said She Said saw Louise open up about how she’d found a letter from her partner Ryan Libbey, in which he wrote down his thoughts of leaving her. The TV personality revealed: “I found a letter that you wrote. Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

“You said in it that you wanted to leave, but I didn’t judge you for it.” Ryan clarified that what she had found was really a journal entry and questioned where she had come across it. Louise corrected him, explaining that it was actually a letter written on hotel stationery while he was in Barcelona. Ryan admitted: “Strangely enough, I can’t actually remember writing it that well because I was in such a flow state is the wrong word for this, but I was in a sort of emotional dumping zone.”

He added that he remembered describing his struggles with fatherhood and his want to “step up” as a dad. He added: “I can also remember writing about what my expectations of you as Leo’s mother to be doing.” After discovering the letter, Louise admitted that she felt a sense of relief that Ryan could express his emotions. The letter dated back to a period when Louise was battling significant physical and mental health challenges after enduring a traumatic and harrowing childbirth when her son’s head became lodged in her pelvis.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
