Ruth Langsford, who was in charge of today’s episode of the popular ITV daytime programme had to call a halt to a racy discussion about fantasies that spiralled into mayhem. Alongside Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards, the panel delved deep into their personal lives discussing naughty dreams and desires, leading to an especially risque story from Janet. Recounting a particular rendezvous where the man had quite a few fantasies to share, Janet spilled the tea on how they ditched the restraints and whips for a night of fun, leaving Coleen utterly floored by her revelation. But it was Janet’s punchline that really tickled everyone as she quipped: “We managed to enjoy ourselves without resorting to a lot of hardware…” This prompted a quick-witted Ruth to swiftly usher in a commercial break.

Viewers at home were left reeling with laughter and disbelief at the candid conversation. Coleen opened up about her bedroom secrets, revealing that her sex life is still sizzling. She’s not shy about discussing her ‘fabulous’ love life, having previously confirmed that intimacy does get better with age, especially if you’re with the right person. “Yes, the answer is yes. It definitely does. If you’re with the right person, it’s the best thing ever. You get to a certain age, and people think you shouldn’t have sex anymore or are horrified that you still have sex.” After years of being single, Coleen feared she’d lost her touch. “To be honest with you when I spent the last four or five years on my own. I never thought I’d have sex again. I missed the intimacy. But I think it’s because I had low self-esteem when it came to my own body.” She confessed to feeling too self-conscious to bare all, but once she did, it was a revelation. “That’s just too embarrassing being naked in front of somebody at this age. And then I did partake, and it was fabulous. Maybe also now, this is it, take it or leave it. I’ve clearly taken it and I feel in a much better place.” Coleen also touched on how fame and her previous marriage affected her confidence. “Being in the public eye and also my last marriage, I lost all of my self-esteem. I lost my sexiness and attractiveness. I thought it all had gone and that I’d never get that again.
