Privacy NoticeMonday morning’s instalment of Loose Women saw Linda Robson pulling out her first aid skills as her co-host Kelle Bryan began choking on water during the show, forcing the ladies to pause their conversation to help. During a segment about menopause, Linda had the audience and her co-hosts in stitches as she joked about having ‘menopause boobs’, jesting: “If I run upstairs and run downstairs, I get chaffing under them.” This particularly tickled Kelle, who was taking a drink of water at the time and ended up choking. The choking did not stop, as Kelle stood up from the panel to try to contain the coughs, while Linda then paused her speech and questioned: “Are you alright?”. When Kelle didn’t respond, Linda took matters into her own hands and pretended to do the Heimlich manoeuvre on her. Sign up to the OK! newsletter to get updates sent to your mailbox for free

Later on the show, the panel – which also included Coleen Nolan and Charlene White – welcomed Bonnie Tyler as a special guest. The ordeal comes after Linda opened up on the show about a time when she was left seething with rage after a pointed insult was hurled at her Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke. Speaking live on the show, the outspoken 66-year-old said she would “lose her job” if she revealed what her reply to the remarks were. Linda, who has long denied rumours of a feud between her and Pauline, opened up about the moment they were enjoying a cooked breakfast together in a restaurant. She told the panel: “There’s no excuse for terrible behaviour. I remember once I was out having lunch with Pauline Quirke and there was a big fry-up breakfast in front of us.

“This woman comes marching over and goes: ‘You should eat that you’ll end up looking like her.” To gasps, she added: “It’s terrible. I won’t tell you what I said because I’ll lose my job, but I wasn’t happy.” The story left Linda’s Loose Women co-stars reeling, with Coleen Nolan seen shaking her head at the the remark – though some fans reckoned the fact she told the story on TV might not go down well with Pauline. One viewer wrote on X: “Linda Robson is the friend that you could do without!! I am sure Pauline Quirke loves hearing that story!” Linda and Pauline were huge stars on first the BBC then ITV thanks to the 80s and 90s sitcom Birds of a Feather, which was revived for a later run from 2014 and 2017 followed by Christmas specials.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
