Multi-day event Kicking things off on Thursday, 2 May, the pair welcomed guests with a poolside party. The white tie event gave guests the chance to get to know one another before the main events took place across the weekend, and allowed them to enjoy entertainment in the form of fire and belly dancers as well as an incredible firework display. Then on Friday, 3 May, the first of the pair’s two wedding ceremonies took place. For the occasion, wedding guests sported black gowns as they watched the happy couple say ‘I do’ for the first time in the stunning seafront location.

Rounding off the magical weekend, Umar and Nada came together again with an Indian ceremony on Saturday, 4 May. Ultra-luxe venue Finding the perfect wedding venue isn’t an easy thing to do, but Umar and Nada found the ultimate destination in the form of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Located in the French Riviera, the hotel, which is linked to Pippa Middleton’s in-laws’ Eden Rock resort, is surrounded by crystal blue seas and lots of incredible greenery, with rooms starting from €1400 a night.

Transforming it into a romantic wedding venue, the pair stuck to a white and cream colour scheme for their first ceremony and decorated the space with plenty of white roses as well as hanging chandeliers. “Style wise, they liked the idea of a traditional white aesthetic that felt elegant and clean, so our design team interpreted this in two ways, a western style white wedding, and an Indian wedding,” the event planners told Vogue Arabia. Superstar performances When it comes to weddings, music plays a huge part in any couple’s big day, and Umar and Nada’s wedding was no different. As the beautiful bride made her way down the aisle for her first ceremony, she was serenaded by Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli who sang his hit song The Prayer.

Meanwhile, other receptions saw musical performances from ex-Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman, Ronan Keating, Jay Sean, Brian McKnight and American Idol star Pia Toscano. “What an honour it was to sing Umar & Nada Kamani’s first dance with one of my favourite singers in the world Brian McKnight,” wrote Pia on Instagram. Celebrity guests The PLT businessman’s guestlist was bursting with A-listers as stars from a whole host of industries turned out to mark Umar’s special occasion. Among those in attendance were supermodel Naomi Campbell, Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett as well as Kate and Rio Ferdinand.

Also at the event were brothers Adam and Scott Thomas, as well as Ryan who was on best man duty. Gushing over Ryan’s best man speech, his partner Lucy Mecklenburgh wrote on Instagram: “The only photo we got together all day/night @ryanthomas84 absolutely smashed the best man speech”. Showing their guests just how much they appreciated them attending the event, Umar and Nada paid attention to every little detail and ensured that attendees had Dior toiletries waiting in their rooms upon arrival. Royal-inspired wedding dress Throughout the four-day event Nada dazzled in a series of show stopping gowns, including a gorgeous bespoke Dior number for ceremony number one. Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri Studio, the gown featured a sweetheart neckline and long train, while the veil featured a mix of tulle and lace.

“I envisioned a gown that would stand the test of time, embodying a sense of grace and sophistication that would never go out of style. When I saw the Grace Kelly black dress neckline, I knew that that was what I wanted, and everything has fallen into place around it,” she told Vogue Arabia. Meanwhile, for ceremony number one, Umar looked equally as stylish as he opted for a tuxedo by Tom Ford.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
