Well, the results of a brand new survey where over 2,000 people took part, has shown that people’s astrological signs tells us a lot about them regarding home decor and furnishings.

According to a survey, Scorpios tend to spend more time in kitchens because they love to socialise, whilst Cancers – one of the most caring and people-pleasing signs – tend to ask other people for their opinions and will explore other styles. Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Article, the study also looked at how the pandemic has changed people’s opinions about their homes’ style and feel. The results showed that a whopping 59 per cent of Aries’ were confident in their interior design skills, putting them on top for this category. Aquariuses care the most about having cosy and comfortable home decor (59 per cent), and Gemini’s are the signs after more pleasing aesthetics.

Cancerians were most likely to seek advice from others before sprucing up their digs (61 per cent) and were more open to trying new home decor trends (62 per cent). More than half of those interviewed (56 percent) have become more willing to step out of their comfort zone by experimenting with home decor, including trying new colours (59 per cent) and styles (51 per cent). The pandemic has clearly had an impact on people’s purchasing habits, as it revealed 44 per cent recently bought at least one item from a style they’d never tried before, and 45 per cent have done a style “180” by redecorating their home completely.

And decorating the home is important for many because it is, quite literally, their happy place.
