Privacy Notice Her days may be filled with Strictly Come Dancing training sessions, outfit fittings and dress rehearsals, but away from the dancefloor Jayde Adams is equally as busy renovating her sprawling Bristol home. The 37 year old comedian, who was recently left in tears after dedicating one of her dances to her beloved late sister, purchased a stunning Victorian property back in August 2021 and has since been giving the home a much needed makeover. In fact, Jayde has even created a dedicated home Instagram account called @thepoolehousebristol to take her fans along on the dramatic renovation journey as she puts her stamp on the home.

Following a year of work, one room that’s nearing completion is the home’s lavish en-suite which features a very trendy blush pink and green colour scheme. Inside, the room features stunning grass green walls and blush pink shower tiles that are complemented by some black and white checkerboard tiles. Elsewhere, the en-suite also has a pink concrete sink which features a sensational gold ornate tap that was shipped all the way from Marrakech as well as a walk-in shower that has a grid style door.

Describing the room, Jayde wrote: “I wanted green but a very popular colour at the moment is that bottle green, so I thought grass green would be an exciting spin but without anything in it it was very intense. Now I’m b****y sold! “With the gold tap, sink, tiles and the black screen and towel rail – and the earthy brown of the wood on the table – I’m so happy with how this is transforming.” With Jayde spending much of her time training, performing comedy and acting on sets up and down the country, the Strictly star has enlisted the help of her doting dad when it comes to giving her home a facelift.

In fact, in one video, the comedian revealed that her dad had built her a modern makeshift kitchen while she waits to build a two-storey kitchen extension. Giving fans a tour of the space, Jayde showed off the area which featured a series of glossy white cabinets, black surfaces and various oak coloured storage boxes. “My dad and the carpenters have put together the cutest little makeshift kitchen,” she said as she walked around the kitchen. The star took to the caption to add: “I paid for nothing in this video and nothing is new. Recycled the lot!!!”

Meanwhile Jayde, who slammed cruel trolls by sharing a body positive message, has given fans a glimpse inside her spacious living room as it undergoes some serious renovation work. While the space is currently stripped back to its bare bones, the open plan living and dining area features a stunning Victorian fireplace and cornicing detail. The area also features high ceilings and a series of bay windows, giving the downstairs living space an extremely bright and airy feel.
