This £22 scent wins praise from shoppers (Image: Getty)Shoppers are raving about a perfume that’s currently under £25, praising its long-lasting scent and suitability for everyday wear. Usually priced at £34, a 100ml bottle of Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers HoneyDaze is up for grabs for with a 37% discount for £21.59 on Amazon at the moment – and customers are buzzing about its bang for the buck. As the name suggests, this fragrance draws inspiration from honey – but instead of being excessively sweet, it veers towards a more natural aroma. It kicks off with notes of citruses, mandarin orange and beeswax then morphs into a floral heart of magnolia and jasmine before settling on a woody cedar note. Although labelled as sweet by those who have sampled it, it’s not overpoweringly so. The perfume has gained popularity, bagging an average score of 4.6 out of 5 across 120 global ratings. Customers are particularly smitten with its value for money and the durability of the scent, reports the Mirror. One shopper wrote: “I love Elizabeth Arden perfumes. This one is light, fresh, just beautiful. I have it beside my bed and spray it on me every time I go in my bedroom. It is very light so I don’t mind spraying it a lot. Great value for money.” Another agreed: “Affordable and such a fresh smell. It’s a really sweet smell which is how I like it. The packaging is so cute and easy to carry around!” One shopper also couldn’t hide their excitement, sharing, “I blind bought this perfume because I am looking for a honey fragrance. Unfortunately, this isn’t very honey-forward, but it is lovely. It’s fresh, feminine, pretty and youthful. I imagine a young teenage girl enjoying this, and it would make a fun first fragrance for a young lady.” The same customer remained upbeat about their purchase, adding, “The longevity is okay, but given the price I have paid, I don’t mind respraying. I will enjoy wearing this perfume during summer, but probably won’t replace it once the bottle is finished. Nonetheless, I am giving it 4 stars because, like many other Elizabeth Arden fragrances, it’s good value for money and decent quality.”

Another chuffed customer jumped in with support for the scent, saying, “I am lucky enough to like a lot of different scents in terms of fragrance, and this one is no exception. The smell is very light and pleasant, and above all lasts a very long time.” This fan continued, “Honestly, it is probably the perfume that lasts the longest among all the scents I have tried in my life. The smell is present but pleasant, being migraine sufferer I can assure you that it does not cause headaches. The perfume can be worn for all occasions. I totally recommend it.” If you’re a fan of a more authentic honey aroma, Lush has just launched The Bees Knees. This isn’t your typical honey scent; it supposedly smells like the perfumer’s beekeeper father – earthy and smoky with floral undertones and a raw honey hint that isn’t sweet at all. For those who fancy something sweeter, Le Monde Gourmand Miel Bebe is known to have a more sugary gourmand fragrance and is currently up for grabs at £20 for 30ml on ASOS. And a reminder that Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers HoneyDaze is currently reduced to £21.59 on Amazon.
