However it appears 42 year old former model Katie is ready to breathe new life into the abode, with the help of her beau Carl. Katie’s process will be documented on her home account, which she has named ‘plucky mansion.’ The first post on the account began at the start of April, and it was a screenshot of the definition of the word ‘plucky,’ which means “having or showing determined courage in the face of difficulties.”

The star wrote to her 123,000 home account followers: “So it’s true, I’ve decided to include everyone and want advice and ideas on making a new start on my so called mucky mansion. “I want to turn it back into a gorgeous family home again, so please DM me if you have any ideas or if you want the chance to design a room in my house…the whole journey will be filmed with before and after pictures, with everything we use for the transformation from where the products are from to what companies we use and how much it costs…to show that you don’t need to spend a lot to create a perfect home! In one snap, we see a room piled with boxes and a pink chest of drawers and the space looks like it needs a new lease of life. In another, Katie shared a snap of a room with wooden floorboards and a sofa, with wires hanging about the space. She penned: “Need ideas what to do,” and the star also shared a video of the inside of the home showing fans that there had been leaking and the ceiling had been affected, with bits of paint falling all over the floors. The bathroom was also completely soaked with water, with a light hanging out of the roof.
